◆研究課題
小型魚類を用いて脊椎動物の普遍的発生原理の研究
◆研究概要
小型魚類(ゼブラフィッシュ Danio rerio と メダカ Oryzias latipes)を用いて脊椎動物初期発生過程における体軸形成および器官形成の機構を研究する。小型魚類は多数の突然変異体の存在、遺伝子導入や胚操作が容易などの発生遺伝学、実験発生学に適したモデル脊椎動物である。特に本年度は、ゼブラフィッシュを用いた左右軸形成およびメダカ突然変異体を用いたバイオミネラリゼーションの研究を実施する。ゼブラフィッシュの研究では、シグナル分子であるノーダルを中心に可視化と伝搬のメカニズム、メダカ変異体は耳石欠損変異体の表現型解析を進める。 |
