概要 A role play course with no video recording can be very motivating and beneficial (Ladousse, 2001, p. 5)however, making a video recording provides students and teachers with a very valuable resource that enables to see and hear themselves using English in a variety of situations. They can identify their weak points and feel more strongly motivated to work on them. Knowing that they would be re-recorded, spurred them on the practice hard and aim for improvement. The presenter provided video evidence of improved performances and advice for setting up a course in this way.
