| 概要 | A basic tenet of postwar Japanese compulsory schooling has been to provide an equal education for all by teaching students of all levels of ability in the same class. Attitudes are changing and universities are seeing an increasing need to group students in language course by proficiency level. This paper presented research findings on the attitudes of English majors to proficiency level grouping and its effect on their self image and motivation to study. |
