| 概要 | The last part of the human brain to finish developing is the prefrontal cortex. This is the area at the front of the brain which enables us to prioritize, organize, plan, and to control impulsive decisions and actions. Teachers need to be aware at all times that our students’ executive functions are still developing and will not reach maturity until they are in their late twenties. This talk offered advice on how to help our students set and achieve goals, organize their work, think critically, and stay on task. |
