概要 Contrast Culture Method (CCM) is a training method to raise awareness of contrasts in cultural values and attitudes that can lead to miscommunications and misunderstandings. It follows a series of stages based on a spontaneously acted role play by two role players who respond to a situation in a contrasting way. In this presentation, the presenters focused on one stage of a full CCM worksop which was the interview with one of the role players, who is still in character, after the role play. The scenario was: A professor is surprised that a younger male colleague was asked to be the head of a key committee when she expected that this would be her assignment. This interview explored issues of male privilege.
