| 概要 | This workshop explained the research findings of the presenters about why Japanese students enrolled on an Extensive Reading program frequently translate from English into their L1 when reading graded readers at the language level. This was followed by discussion of whether Arabic-speaking students may encounter similar problems and ended with suggestions for how to reduce reliance on the L1 when reading easy texts in the target language. |
