| 概要 | The presenters explained the reasons why the Department of English decided to change from placing students in mixed level classes for language skills courses to streaming them by language level. The results of this change were evaluated by analysis of TOEFL scores and student feedback surveys. While teachers and students agreed that it was good to move high achieving students to higher level classes, there was shared concern that moving students who had performed poorly to a lower level class may demotivate those students. |
