| 概要 | The purpose of this demonstration was to illustrate the aims and approaches of the Video Literature course taught at the Sociedade Brasileira de Cultura Inglesa, Rio de Janeiro. This course was designed for advanced-level students and teachers interested in comparing literary and cinematic styles as well as deepening cultural awareness and developing language skills. A brief introduction of the course was followed by viewing and discussion activities to illustrate the methods involved. The text was taken from Henry Fielding's "Tom Jones" which was compared with an extract from Tony Richardson's film version. |
