概要 | This was an interactive online workshop with participants sharing experiences and suggestions as well as questions in breakout rooms and in the chat window. The presenters led a discussion about the difficulties encountered when working online (the thorns) and the beneficial and positive outcomes (the roses). The presenters then explained the work of neuroscientist Matthew Lieberman on the social brain and how vital social interaction is to us as a species. Many suggestions were shared to accommodate our students' need for social interaction when working in online teaching situations. |
