概要 | There are many ways that teachers can teach vocabulary. The focus of this workshop, however, was on how teachers can help students to learn vocabulary. The presenter and workshop participants discussed basic concepts such as receptive and productive vocabulary use and the difference between increasing vocabulary and establishing vocabulary. Participants worked with others in similar teaching situations (high school or university) to discuss how activities introduced by the presenter could be used in their classrooms and shared suggestions of their own. Finally, suggestions were shared with the whole group. |
