| 概要 | Why do we sometimes hear the words and letters we see on a printed page or screen? The speaker explained the role of the phonological loop (our “inner ear” and our “inner voice”) when we process information in our working memory. Then discussed the importance of the phonological loop in language learning, and especially in learning to read. Next, she shared materials and methods she has found helpful in building learners’ reading skills. They include printed page texts and digital texts freely accessible to anyone with an internet connection. |
