| 概要 | The structure of strict n-hypercategories is defined, a new kind of higher dimensional algebraic structures allowing more general shape of pasting diagrams which describe the arrangement of entities to be composed. The definition is based on the structure called shell, which is defined as a tree endowed with isomorphisms of its hypersubgraphs of lower dimensions. A method of describing higher dimensional shells is introduced, which can conceal lower-dimensional information if necessary. © 2002 by the University of Notre Dame. All rights reserved. |
