| 概要 | UPtGa5 with the tetragonal structure is an antiferromagnet with a Neel temperature T-N = 26 K and a small ordered moment mu(s) = 0.341 mu(B)/U. From the de Haas-van Alphen experiment and the magnetic susceptibility measurement at high temperatures up to 800K, together with the spin (orbital)-polarized 5f-itinerant band calculations, the 5f electrons are found to be changed from the itinerant nature at low temperatures to the localized nature at high temperatures.
