| 概要 | In this paper, we study on face-to-face communication technology in remote collaborative environment by the volume communication technology. We proposed a system that can determine whether or not local user's face is turned for user in remote site by estimation of the face direction with video image captured from camera. The advantage of our system is a simple, and special hardware is not necessary in order to realize user-friendly system and reduction of user's task. We apply OpenCV as facial recognition technology in our system. From experimental results, we showed that the regions of both eyes are detected, when the user is turning to the front, and the single eye is detected when user is turning to other direction. |
