| 概要 | 動画像の代表的なキーフレームと検索キー画像との照合は，登場人物や物体の色や配置等の特徴量に基づいた検索を可能にする．著者らは，広域ネットワーク上に分散している大量のキーフレームとの照合において，検索キー画像をホスト間で効率よく配信する Query Routing System (QRS)の提案を行ってきた．この配信制御方式は，ホスト間のネットワーク遅延時間や照合の処理時間，さらに利用者の履歴情報等を評価要因とし，階層分析法を用いて利用者毎に各時点で最適なホストを決定し，検索キー画像を選択的に配信する手法である．本論文では，広域ネットワークにおける提案方式を検討するため，大規模広域ネットワーク環境をシミュレートし，検索キー画像の配信に必要なトラフィックの評価を行った．その結果，提案方式によるトラフィックの削減が確認され，有効性が示された．To search motion pictures using the feature such as color and shape, the Picture frames of a motion picture are matched with a key-image. In order to achieve searching for motion pictures from a number of them using the key-image, we have proposed the Query Routing System (QRS) which can forward efficiently the key-image between each host on a wide area network. The query routing method can forward a key-image only to appropriate hosts which are selected based on their favorable network conditions and the users' properties using AHP. In this paper, we evaluate a network traffic generated by forwarding a key-image using our proposed method in a large scale network on the model of the Internet architecture. The several experiments in the simulation showed the substantial reduction of the query traffic through the key-image forwarding. |
