概要 | This article explains how and where involuntary and voluntary profane language is processed and produced in the brain. It examines the close relationship between the use of profanity and emotional expression and emotional release. It also explains that the intentional use of profanity has been shown through experimentation to increase physical strength and stamina, and pain endurance. Research has also shown that people interpret the use of profanity as a sign of sincerity. However, the use of slurs can induce great emotional pain and should be avoided. |
