概要 The Bully, the Bullied, and the Bystander: From Preschool to High School–How Parents and Teachers Can Help Break the Cycle of Violence by Colors, B. First Harper Resource/Quill Paperback edition, 2004 and The Anti-Bullying Handbook by Sullivan, K. OUP, 2000. Colors emphasizes that preventing bullying involves more than identifying and stopping the bully. It is necessary to find out why a child becomes a bully or the target of a bully. The role of bystanders is also crucial in stopping bullying. Sullivan's book is more academic in approach but is very clearly laid out and full of data. It is a valuable reference work to have in any teachers' room.
