概要 | This article explains the reasons why the English Department changed from placing students in mixed-level to creating streamed language skills classes. The contents of these classes and the effectiveness of these changes were evaluated through analysis of TOEFL scores and student feedback surveys. Students and teachers were supportive of moving high achieving students to a higher level at the end of each semester, but both students and teachers worried that students who were moved to a lower level may become demotivated and may emotive others. |
