| 概要 | This article explains the role of the phonological loop (our inner ear and voice), a vital component of our working memory. It is essential for the learning of new vocabulary, when learning to read, and when reading texts that demand a heightened level of attention. After demonstrating how the phonological loop works, a variety of ways are introduced to increase the amount of reading that language learners do in their target language on a regular basis. |
