| 概要 | Although the aim of Extensive Reading is for students to read a lot of books that are a little below their level in English, many Japanese students translate in their heads as they read. This research explores the reasons why they do this and hopes to establish whether translating can be reduced or eliminated by the time students reach a certain level of linguistic competency. |
